I’m the guy who’ll stand on his head to get the perfect photo of your kid. Or—if headstands aren’t required—I’ll chase your progeny through fields, get grass stains belly crawling at a baby’s level and follow your wild one over every inch of a city park. Whatever it takes to capture the real essence of your child and your family.
A lot of that comes naturally—I get a kick out of photographing kids and I’ve been doing it for a long time. But I’ve also got some help at home, documenting the lives of my wife and two young kids. Over the years, I’ve learned how to work with, around and near kids in every sort of mood and under every type of circumstance. Because, let’s face it, most kids won’t smile and preen for the camera—and those unposed, unsmiling shots sometimes make the best, most memorable photos.
So whether your kid wears the nice clothes you’ve picked out or shows up to the shoot in rain boots, a mask and a superhero cape, I will create photos that bring out the true nature of your child. And if I have to stand on my head to do it, well…a little head rush is good for the ol’ creativity.
